Alison and Nic had everyone over to their house for a BBQ to celebrate Nic's 23rd.

MaryAnn Turns 80

I think we surprised her with our visit. All 6 kids with spouses in tow descended on Laguna Beach. She survived the weekend and we all had a great time!

Cambria Coastline

We were glad we decided to take a little excursion to Cambria, CA. Very beautiful and peaceful.

Wine Tasting....again...

We headed north this time to visit the Spangler and Abacela wineries. It was a quiet day at the winery, so Pat and Loree Spangler took us back to the barrel room to taste some up and coming wines. Our faves? They make a unique and wonderful Sauv Blanc and their Petite Sirah was fantastic!! Abacela is known for their Tempranillo, and it was worth the drive to their tasting room. Okay, if your weather was this gloomy every day, wouldn't you be out wine tasting?

Merry Christmas

We had a quiet, but wonderful Christmas. Everyone pitched in for a nice turkey dinner on Christmas Eve. Later, we opened gifts and then played games. Jake even wanted to get in on Cranium!

Thanksgiving Weekend

We had such a nice Thanksgiving. We had quite a gang, including Nic's family. Sean, Kathryn and August made a surprise visit from Washington. Later that weekend we celebrated Mary's birthday. Very fun!
